Estocástica: finanzas y riesgo is committed to observing good practices in the publication process adhering to a code of ethics, based on the Codes of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines determined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). In order to comply with best practices, the editorial committee endeavours to review in an impartial manner the material that is sent for publication, based solely on its quality and relevance, according to the journal´s thematic guidelines. By submitting their articles to the journal Estocástica: finanzas y riesgo for their possible publication, the authors accept the terms and agree to comply with the requirements established in the Author guidelines, Estocástica:finanzas y riesgo and the Call for Papers. All the articles that are published in this journal must be the result of original research, and will therefore undergo revision to detect previous publications or plagiarism, in which case they shall not be published and future papers from the authors shall not be accepted. The articles that fulfil the requirements established in the Author guidelines, Estocástica: finanzas y riesgo and comply with the requirements stated in the Call for papers, shall be double blind peer reviewed. The journal keeps rigorous confidentiality during this process, protecting the anonymity of authors, evaluators, and the communications between these and the editorial committee. The editorial committee endeavours to ensure the quality of the published articles, respecting their content and integrity, and accepts the responsibility for publishing clarifications, retractions and apologies when necessary and correcting mistakes in a quick and expedite manner.
